Omega Printmakers will again be exhibiting a selection of original art works in Portsmouth. Based at The Omega Centre in Somerstown, this lively group of enthusiastic artists are busy throughout the year creating artworks using a variety of printmaking techniques. The exhibition will include examples of screen printing, woodblock, lino cut and monoprint, as well as various forms of etching. Explanations of different methods will be available during the exhibition and the work of twenty artists will be on show.
Omega Printmakers is a voluntarily run, non profit making organisation which was founded in 2008 in order to enable printmakers to have access to the traditional printing presses at The Omega Centre. Open Access is available as well as weekly classes, details of which can be found at www.omegaprintmakers.co.uk. The exhibition takes place at Portsmouth cathedral PO1 2HA and runs from July 4th to 19th, 10 – 4.30 unless there is a service.
